Zumba

It is an aerobic dance that was created in Colombia in the 1990s. Zumba is a Spanish slang word that means ‘To move fast and have fun’.

We will be dancing to upbeat Latin music, with easy to follow steps and having fun.

It is good for fitness and weight loss, resulting in you both looking and feeling better.

Everyone is welcome. No experience is required, just a desire to enjoy yourself.

Getting the Most Out of Life

Do you want to feel better, to learn and make changes in your life?

Then this course using the ‘Human Givens’ approach may be for you.

It will support you to look at:

  • Your thoughts and their impact on your daily life
  • The essentials of a good sleep and how to get it
  • How your mind and body are intrinsically linked
  • Understanding depression and taking control
  • Understanding stress and anxiety and reducing them

Singing For Pleasure

Studies show that singing lowers the heart rate, blood pressure and reduces stress.

Singing in a group enhances feelings of relaxation, mood and confidence.

This group is for everyone, because we believe everyone can sing.

So don’t limit your singing to the bathroom!

No need to worry, no-one is put on the spot.

TV chef Jamie Oliver’s Ministry Of Food is here in Bradford!

This is a seven week course to learn how to cook quick, simple, healthy and cost-effective meals.

Research shows that people whho cook their own food are generally healthier.

COURSE ON MINDFULNESS

Mindfulness is simply bringing our awareness to the present moment and ‘being with’ all that is, now.

We will use simple non-tiring physical exercises to draw attention away from the ‘noisy’ mind and into the body.

This will help settle us into meditation whereby keeping our mindfulness on the body, where we discover it has something to teach us about how we approach our life
