I’m thinking about harming someone else

Sometimes you may have thoughts which are disturbing or distressing and may include thinking about causing harm to others. Please remember that you do not have to believe in, or act upon the thoughts and there have been times in the past when you have managed your thoughts successfully

If you are still worried that you may end up harming someone, you can:

  • Get in touch with your local crisis home treatment team if you have one
  • If you feel you are in serious danger of hurting another person, please call 999 or go to your nearest Accident and Emergency department (A&E)
