Overview

Hours: 20 hours, Monday to Friday 9am – 1pm 

Salary: 16,000 - 17,000 per annum (pro rata 8,648 - 9,189)

Location: Kenburgh House 

Responsible to: Senior Administrator

Annual leave: 25 days (Pro rata) 

Pension: We operate a contributory pension scheme which you will be auto-enrolled into (subject to the conditions of the scheme) 

Probationary Period: 6 months

Purpose

To assist the Senior Administrator fulfill the role of frontline communicator with clients, enquiries and visitors to HQ.  To provide general administrative support to ensure that daily operations are maintained in an effective, up-to-date and accurate manner.

Wellbeing Practitioner                                                            

Overview     

Hours: 10 hours x 2 positions. To include day, evening and weekends

Salary: 11.75 per hour

Location: Kenburgh House with requirement to travel between service locations

Responsible to: Service Manager

Purpose

The Wellbeing practitioner will support the development and delivery of a district wide programme of recovery and maintenance focussed activities and groups to a broad range of clients. The role will play a key function in developing strong community links across the district, to ensure that we are well positioned to connect our work with other organisations to both promote services and expand our reach into the community, leading to better support to our clients.

Volunteer Coordinator

Hours: 37.5 hours (to include some evenings and weekends)             

Salary: 19, 000 - 23, 000 (depending on experience)

Location: Kenburgh House, Bradford

Purpose

The post holder will be responsible for managing, recruiting, training and supporting volunteers to support our Social isolation project for the Elderly and for developing our wider volunteer workforce across the Bradford, Craven, Airedale and Wharfedale areas. The post holder will need to be creative, motivated, organised and possess excellent interpersonal skills with a passion for volunteering.                                                                                                                     
The post holder will enable the training and support to volunteers in a variety of roles across the organisation, including: group work; one-to-one support; fund-raising; peer support and administration. The post will offer the opportunity to make a real contribution to the development of the organisation.                                                                                                                                                                                                            The volunteer coordinator will oversee the service delivery of the Community Companions pilot project for the elderly in North Bradford which aims to reduce social isolation, loneliness and depression for people aged 65 and over. The aim is to improve older people’s mental health through one-to-one support, increase access to services and promote well-being and self-care. The project will initially start in the Baildon area and is being launched for patients at Baildon Medical Practice.
