Mind in Bradford is a local charity, affiliated to national Mind. Our organisation has provided vital emotional and mental support to adults in the community for over 28 years and proudly showcases 5 leading services.
The Board of Trustees in partnership with our Employment Pathway Team Leader are looking to recruit an exceptional, motivated, passionate and skilled team of Community Employment Specialists.
There are four posts available in total; two covering the Bradford area and two covering the Huddersfield area. Each post is 20 hours per week with some degree of flexibility around working hours (although there will be regular sessions scheduled at the same time each week which you will be expected to deliver). Work will be carried out from our Drop-In centre and also within the local community.
This is a hands-on role which will involve you at the heart of an exciting new area of our charity. With oversight from the Management Team, Employment Pathway Team Leader, and Board of Trustees, you will be responsible for taking the Mind in Bradford employment services to the next level whilst also making a positive difference in the lives of those in the community.
The successful candidate will have a 2:1 degree in an area related to mental health, psychology or social work, with lived experience or proven expertise of helping people with physical and mental illnesses, and experience of working in the charity sector. Further essential experience, skills and attributes are set out within the Person Specification.
