One in four people will have a mental health problem.

Do you want to help us improve mental health services in Bradford?

Could you spare the time to be a trustee?

Mind in Bradford provides mental wellbeing services and a telephone helpline to those in mental distress in the district.

Last year we took 8,000 calls from people in distress needing support or information.

We are looking for new trustees for our Board who can think strategically & creatively and are willing to speak their mind and support our current trustees and senior management.

We are seeking people with strategic skills or Board-level decision making experience who can work as part of a team. Ideally trustees will have strengths in one or more of the following areas:

Legal matters including employment law

 Strategic development and planning

Building development e.g. as an architect or surveyor

Able to represent Bradford’s diverse population

Can you help us? If so come to our open information session at our building in Manningham on Saturday 11th May from 11 to 1 30 where you can meet service users, staff and current trustees and learn more about the role of being a trustee.

If you are interested in attending the event or would like an informal discussion about being a trustee please contact Pamela Coulson on 01274 745350 or 07531245600 or email pamela@mindinbradford.org.uk.
