In recognition of Mental Health Awareness Week, during May we’ll be asking our supporters to carry an item of their choosing for 24 hours to represent the invisible burden that people with mental health difficulties carry with them every single day.

The Carry the Burden Challenge aims to raise awareness of mental health difficulties, as well as raising vital funds for Mind in Bradford so that we can continue to support people with mental health difficulties.

Big or small, outrageous or everyday – the choice is yours! Check out some of last years fundraisers at the bottom of this page to get some inspiration!

2. Carry your item for a full 24 hours

Don’t forget to share videos and photos throughout the day as you Carry the Burden! You can share these with Mind in Bradford by using #carrytheburden

3. Donate and Nominate!

Donate £5 to Mind in Bradford to support people in our communities with mental health difficulties, and nominate three friends to Carry the Burden too!
