Drama Facilitator

  3. Do you have experience leading engaging drama sessions or working creatively with groups to achieve positive outcomes?

At Bradford District and Craven Mind we are looking for a Drama Facilitator for our month KidsTime workshops. This post is pivotal in enriching the lives of children and young people who have parents struggling with mental illness, through engaging and transformative drama sessions.

 

This role will appeal to those who have:

  • A passion for using drama as a tool for positive change, and experience using drama, with an emphasis on story-telling, to facilitate group work with children.
  • Experience in drama through acting, directing or other arts training.
  • A person-centred, whole family approach, to helping improve people’s lives.
  • Confidence in developing new relationships and experience working in multi-agency settings.
  • Ability to take initiative and be proactive in situations.

 

Important information

  • Salary: £14.00/hour
  • Contract: Fixed term until 31st October
  • Hours: 6 per month
  • Probation: 6 months
  • Closing date: 10.00am Friday 19th April
  • Interview date:  Week commencing Monday 22nd April 

The successful candidate must be able to attend KidsTime workshops, which run from 4pm – 8pm on the second Thursday of every month and clinical supervisions at 9.30am on the Friday after each workshop.
