The Move for Mind Challenge is now over, we will be running this in 2023. We do still have a couple of Movers on the go, to support them visit their Just Giving pages here.
Can you join the Move for Mind team and help us reach our target?
We challenge you to set yourself a 30 day exercise and fundraising goal.
You can dance, swim, walk, climb, run, cycle – so long as you’re moving and having fun, it counts. You choose how you want to get active to raise money, and help us fight to ensure everyone gets the respect and support they deserve.
What this looks like? That’s up to you (here’s some ideas to get you thinking!).
Can you help us reach the £5,000 target? Check fundraising progress here.
Why should I Move for Mind?
If you’ve always wanted to start a healthy habit, but you’re not sure how to make it stick? How about knowing that while you’re doing it, you’re helping us to be there for those struggling with Mental Health.
This year, we want to deliver more befriending support for people experiencing loneliness and social isolation, offer essential helpline advice to people when they need it most, provide a safe space in times of crisis and be there for our children and young people impacted by hardship during this time.
But we need your help.
How do I take part?
The best part is you can do anything you like to take part in Move for Mind. Have a dance around your living room every day, a jog round the park before work or a hike in your local area each weekend. You can even team up and take it on with your friends, too.
Just choose your challenge, raise money and help us fight for mental health across England and Wales. We’ll even send a t-shirt your way when you hit that first £50, and a medal when you raise £150.
* Registration is now closed. For more ways to raise money for Mind in Bradford head to our fundraising page. *
