Can you help us be there for Bradford this winter?

Winter can be a difficult time of year for many of us. Feelings of loneliness and social isolation are amplified, and finances are often stretched around the Christmas period.

This year perhaps more than others, many people will also be struggling with bereavement and loss. Some of us may be facing winter unemployed, for others this may be the first Christmas without a loved one. The impact of the pandemic on our mental health will be felt more than ever.

Our district reached a sad milestone in 2021, passing 1,000 COVID-related deaths. And in the period July 2020 – June 2021, the number of people unemployed was up 22.5% on the previous 12 months. For many, this winter will be tainted with grief, loss and worry.

If we don’t act now, the next pandemic could be a mental health one.

This winter, you can make double the difference!

Donate to our crowdfunder before midday on Friday 17 December and your gift (up to the value of £250) will be matched – doubling the positive difference you can make in your community.

Help decorate our tree!

We are celebrating the spirit of Christmas by sharing generosity and messages of hope with another.

Dedicate a donation to a friend, family member or colleague, and support someone in our community who is struggling with their mental health this winter.
