MAGIC is provided by Brathay and is part of the Youth in Mind partnership.

How can MAGIC support me?

MAGIC, stands for Managing Anxiety and creating Goals for Increased Confidence. The service supports young people aged 5-11 years old who struggle with anxiety.

Through creative one-to-one sessions with a counsellor or youth worker, you will learn to express your emotions and manage your anxiety symptoms. MAGIC is in collaboration with local Primary Schools, and we deliver sessions at the young person’s school.

Who can access this service?

  • You must be aged 5-11.
  • You must live, go to school in, or attend a GP surgery in Bradford District.

What happens after completing your referral form?

Once we’ve received your referral form Brathay will be in touch within five working days.

Thank you for the techniques you passed on, I saw him practice the high-5 breathing at tea-time which was just so amazing to see.

The staff are awesome! After sessions I feel happy and ready to go home after calming down from school.
