The coronavirus pandemic is having a huge impact on the mental health of people in Bradford district. In these uncertain times there is still one thing we know; our mental health will suffer. Your donations right now will mean our district-wide mental health services will be there for anyone in Bradford who needs them, now more than ever before.
1 in 4 of us experience a mental health problem at any one time.
Prior to the COVID-19 lockdown, people in Bradford were already reporting lower levels of wellbeing than national averages. 6,200 local people needed and were in contact with specialist mental health services at any given time.
We know that worries and anxieties about the future, along with financial concerns, loneliness and family frustrations have been exacerbated throughout lockdown and will have a lasting impact on the emotional wellbeing and resilience of people locally.
Your support now will help us make sure we can be there for you, your family, friends and all the key workers who will need our help to look after their mental health. Please help us to support you and them through these uncharted times. Thank you.
Mind in Bradford is an independent charity which is part of the national Mind network. As a local Mind we are responsible for raising our own funds to support and develop our services in Bradford and across the district.
Nobody should face a mental health problem alone and with your help, we can be there for people who need urgent and ongoing support and advice.
