Who are Ebor Financial Planning Ltd?

We pride ourselves on building lifelong trusted relationships with our clients as we help them with their financial aspirations. Our focus is about more than just financial wellbeing; when you’re our client, we see you as an extension of our Ebor family. In more than 40 years, we’ve developed a reputation for high-quality advice, providing our expertise to clients across Yorkshire and the UK. From an original team of three, the firm has grown steadily and now has a team of six advisers.

Based just outside Bradford, our Yorkshire roots are important to us – that’s why the White Rose is on our company logo. Our name, ‘Ebor’, also comes from the Latin for ‘York’. Yorkshire has a well-earned reputation for plain-speaking, and we think that’s reflected in the friendly, straightforward advice we provide. 

Why have you chosen to support Mind in Bradford?

Ebor Financial Limited believe in the benefits of good financial health, and the positive link this has on overall wellbeing. As a national organisation with head offices in Bradford, they are keen to support the work of a local charity offering vital services for people experiencing mental health difficulties in the community.  Ebor Financial have chosen Mind in Bradford as their Charity of the Year 2021 and as such want to support the business appeal to ensure their support can be offered to anyone who needs it at this crucial time.

Naylor Wintersgill’s events have ranged from triathlons to the world’s biggest inflatable 5k run Gung-Ho! at Harewood House in Leeds, to sponsoring a bauble for our 2021 Winter Appeal.

With one in four people experiencing a mental health problem every year, our team are really keen to have a positive impact on a mental health charity operating in our local community.

Why have you chosen to support Mind in Bradford?

Mind in Bradford is very close to the hearts of the TL Dallas team, who handpicked the charity for the Centenary fundraising activities. The work they do is invaluable nationally and within our local community, offering a safe environment for clients to explore their mental health, reducing social isolation and allowing attendees to benefit from peer support.

We were also proud to be chosen as charity partner at Ilkley Food & Drink Festival, receiving money from ticket donations and car parking. The organisers match-funded this, saying:

We care deeply about supporting this important service financially, but also about raising awareness so that people know that services like this exist whenever they may need it.

We are delighted to announce Regal Food Products Group have chosen Mind in Bradford as their Charity of the Year 2022.

Regals Foods will show their support with a series of fundraising events throughout next year, as well as partnering up to benefit the work we provide.

Barton Legal and Mind in Bradford have teamed up in a partnership which aims to raise funds and awareness of mental health in the workplace and beyond. 

The industry-leading law firm, specialising in the property, construction and engineering sectors, is a keen advocate of good mental health in the workplace. 

Barton Legal’s support for Mind in Bradford has included a cycling challenge in May 2022, as part of Mental Health Awareness Week. 

Leeds-based business coach Bill Squires is a keen supporter of Mind in Bradford. In summer 2022 he cycled from London to Edinburgh and back again, raising over £3,300.
