Fight for mental health today and every day

World Mental Health Day is 10 October 2025

World Mental Health Day

But mental health doesn’t take a day off. Not on World Mental Health Day and not on any other day of the year.

Mental health is more than a small part of our lives – it’s every moment of every day. It’s a hard day’s work and a catch-up with friends. It’s when you become a parent and the day you lose someone you love.

It’s the times you reach out and get support, where, when and how you need it.

That’s why we provide mental health support to people of all-ages, no matter where you are on your mental health journey.

Help fight for mental health today, and every day in Bradford District and Craven by making a donation to your local Mind.

Your support makes a difference

Bradford District and Craven Mind is an independent, local charity.

Every penny raised locally is spent locally in Bradford District and Craven. So, when you support us, you’re helping your friends, family, colleagues and neighbours right here.

Bradford District and Craven Mind has been there for me in the past, so I’ve set up a regular contribution so that they can be there for others in the future.

Setting up a monthly donation helps fund vital mental health services for people in your community to access when they need it most.

“You do make a difference to people’s lives.” Listen to the full message below.

I’ve struggled with my mental health for a number of years. It’s something I need to keep an eye on. I felt drained and tired and hopeless. It was incredible to be able to have that time to talk. I was Abi for an hour a week, as opposed to just being a mum.

Abi talks to us about how motherhood impacted her mental health, and how the Community Companions service supported her.
