Leading law firm joins forces with Bradford District and Craven Mind

Barton Legal and Bradford District and Craven Mind have teamed up in a partnership which aims to raise funds and awareness of mental health in the workplace and beyond.

The industry-leading law firm, specialising in the property, construction and engineering sectors, is a keen advocate of good mental health in the workplace.

Barton Legal’s support for Bradford District and Craven Mind will include a cycling challenge in May 2022, as part of Mental Health Awareness Week.

The team at Barton Legal has partnered with Northern Brewing Co and Chevin Cycles for the event, which will raise funds for the mental health charity.

Barton Legal director Trish Barton said: “As our country begins to emerge from the pandemic, and the impact that the past 18 months has had on our mental health as a nation, we are proud to have joined forces with Bradford District and Craven Mind, who champion the support required for people suffering from mental health issues.

At Barton Legal, we will not only be supporting Bradford District and Craven Mind through fundraising activities and awareness, but we will be working with the charity to ensure our team and connections have the opportunity for training and guidance on mental health issues.

Barton Legal has been named as a leading practice in the construction industry in the Legal 500, a guide which annually assesses the performance of legal firms both nationally and internationally.

Lisa Jakimciw, Business Development Director at Bradford District and Craven Mind, said: “Partnerships like this are so important for us as we continue in our mission to support as many people with their mental health in as many places as possible.”
