Free number for Guide-Line

Guide-Line is a free mental health telephone support line and live chat service for people of all ages in Bradford District and Craven. There is a new free number for Guide-Line which means calls from landlines and mobiles will not be charged.

Guide-Line is a confidential helpline which has been running for over 20 years. The lines are manned by trained staff and volunteers who offer a listening ear, advice and support, and who can help you find local services. In 2022-2023 the service received over 8,700 calls and live chats, read about this in our latest Impact Report. 

Guide-Line open from 8am to 12am (midnight) every day for anyone of any age living in Bradford, Airedale, Wharfedale and Craven. Callers can ring up to once a day if they are struggling.

This service is available to you if you live in Bradford, Airedale, Wharfedale or Craven.

We have a translation service that can provide support in over 100 languages, we also have bi-lingual support workers that can provide direct translation in Urdu, Arabic, Polish and Panjabi.
