We would like to thank all our befriending volunteers and celebrate their work to mark Befriending Week 2020.
We currently have 54 befriending volunteers supporting over 70 clients who are experiencing loneliness and social isolation. Their work and dedication is more valuable than ever as we enter into another lockdown, and their kindness and support is making a real difference to people’s lives.
We have sent handwritten cards to all our befriending volunteers as a thank you. We have also invited all befrienders to a virtual thank you session this Saturday. To find out more about being a befriender with Mind in Bradford, visit our Community Companions page.
Here’s a message from Donna, our Volunteer Coordinator.
