More 1:1 support at GP surgeries

We’ve doubled the number of 1:1 support sessions we offer at GP surgeries.

Our recovery workers now provide 14 sessions a week at five practices across the Bradford district: Bowling Hall Medical Practice; Park Grange Medical Centre; Picton Medical Centre; Shipley Medical Centre and The Ridge Medical Practice.

The evening appointments are designed to be a first point of contact for anyone worried about their own mental health or that of a family member. They are open to anyone who lives in the Bradford district who is aged 11 or over and no referral or diagnosis is required.

Due to public health restrictions during the coronavirus outbreak, appointments are currently offered over the phone.

Appointments are available between 6.30pm and 9.30pm at the following surgeries:

Bowling Hall Medical Practice: Tuesdays
Park Grange Medical Centre: Mondays
Picton Medical Centre: Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays & Fridays
Shipley Medical Centre: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays & Fridays
The Ridge Medical Practice: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays

To book, call you own GP receptionist and ask for an appointment with a Mind Recovery Worker in Extended Access.
