People who are struggling with their thoughts and feelings can now speak to our Guide-Line workers via live chat. The new service is open 12 midday to 8pm every day of the year and can be reached via this link on any smart device including a computer, tablet or smart phone:
We have an experienced team of staff and volunteers who are fully trained to answer a variety of questions about mental health and wellbeing and offer support and advice. They can also let people know what other services may be of help locally and help access them.
Guide-Line is a district-wide mental health telephone support service which has been running for more than 20 years. In March the service was extended from an adult only service to be open to all ages. The service grew more in April by extending its opening hours to 12 midday until 12 midnight every day of the year. To access Guide-Line telephone service, call 01274 594594.
